INTRODUCTION TO YOGA WITH REBECCA MILLER

For new and returning students alike, this workshop, led by Rebecca Miller, will focus on fundamentals and will delve deeper into the proper alignment of several foundational postures.  If you've got specific questions or need clarification about certain asanas or pranayama, this is the workshop for you.

HEALING THEATER FOR WOMEN

Saturdays - August 7, 14, 21 & 28 2010 - 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Alchemy is the power to turn base metal into gold, thus the philosopher's stone exists within each human heart.  

This workshop, led by Christina Conte, uses the power of theater to activate positive change within the self.  Particpants will become true actors, transforming their lives through the power of theater.  Each workshop uses improvisation to empower women to express themselves fully.

Christina Conte is an award-winning educator, director and actor. Christina studied at Harvard University's experimental Loeb Theatre.   She is a member of SAG and has acted in small independent films.   She received her Masters Degree from UCLA's Theater, Film and Television School and her Bachelors Degree in Theatre from Tufts University.

COMING SOON:  YOGA TEACHER CERTIFICATION

By popular demand, Yoga Madre will be offering a 200-hr. Yoga Teacher certification.  Led by René Quenell and Rebecca Miller, this comprehensive 12-week training is designed so that you will be able to teach, but students wishing to simply deepen their understanding of yoga are welcome. 

With 20 years of collective teaching experience, Rebecca and René have a wealth of knowledge to share in the classical yoga tradition and the business of yoga.  The class will help you find your own unique voice so that you can pass along this ancient tradition with confidence and grace.
